Getting Started with MyPCAP
Eight steps from creating your account to managing your membership.
- Step 1
Create an account
Go to Register and sign up with your personal email address (not a school or work one) and a password. You'll get a verification email, so use an address you actually check.
Use a personal email. A school or organization address may stop working, and shared mailboxes can't prove the account is yours alone.
- Step 2
Complete your member profile
Complete your name, professional details, region, and chapter in your member profile. Follow the email verification prompt before submitting your application. Your region determines which chapter reviews your application and which oath-taking ceremony you can register for.
- Step 3
Upload your requirements
On Verify & Submit, complete the identity check and upload the requirements shown for your membership category. Follow each upload field's accepted formats and size limit. COGS supporting documents require PDF files; photo fields require images.
- Step 4
Register for events
Go to Oath Taking, review your chapter's ceremony and requirements, then select Register Now when registration is available. For ceremonies marked Register In Person, follow the contact instructions shown. Your registration status appears on the same page.
- Step 5
Make and confirm payments
For online payments, choose an available channel and complete its checkout. Keep your reference and check Payments for confirmation; bank transfers may remain pending while they clear. Pay an oath-taking fee online or on-site to your chapter. An on-site payment is confirmed when an officer records it.
- Step 6
Access your digital documents
Your Smart ID appears on Virtual ID after national approval. For a Certificate of Good Standing, open Certificates and choose Request COGS: select your category, pay, upload documents, choose your delivery option, then review and submit. Save & finish later keeps a draft. Track the request on Certificates. Your e-COGS is the official certificate; if you asked for a printed copy, your chapter releases it.
- Step 7
Check your event and application status
Your Dashboard shows your application's status and a timeline of what's happened so far. The Notifications page lists every update, and Oath Taking shows your registration and attendance status.
- Step 8
Update your profile information
Contact number and address update immediately from your Profile page. Your legal name, PCAP region, chapter, and PRC license number appear on your Smart ID and certificates, so changing any of those goes through a short admin review instead.
